Beagle Channel Navigation and walk with penguins
FROM THE 2ND OF JULY TO THE 15 OF SEPTEMBER
We started together in the commercial dock of Ushuaia where they will check in at our office. We will sailing the Beagle Channel in the Northeast direction for two and a half hours, during the tour we will observe the different islands where the Sea lions are located. We will be able to observe the imperial cormorants. We will be able to see the southernmost lighthouse in all of Argentina, Les Eclaireurs lighthouse. We'll keep sailing until we reach Harberton Ranch. We will board a semi rigid, where we will sail for 15 minutes, to get to Martillo island. With a specialized guide, we will stay on the island for half an hour visiting the Papuan penguins that live on the island throughout the year. We will always be accompanied by a guide who will give us information about what we are seeing and also ensure that the rules of conduct of the island are complied with.
After that time on the island, we will return to Ushuaia sailing again.
Start time: 2:00 p.m.
Duration: approximately 7 hours
Pick up: Does not include, passengers must check in at the commercial dock half an hour before the scheduled departure time.
Included: round trip transfer from Ushuaia, crossing to the island, half hour visit to the island.
Not included: meals, transfer to the starting point, entrance to Estancia Harberton, port fee.
Recommendations: wear warm clothes and comfortable hiking shoes.
